Cyrus Gill, President & Owner
Cyrus (Cy) Gill grew up in Raleigh, attended Millbrook High School, and was around the sign business during his teenage years. His mother, Ruth Gill, ran American Sign Shops on Hillsborough Street during the 1980s and 1990s in downtown Raleigh.
In 2015, Cy started a new sign company to the Greater Raleigh-Durham area, North State Signs. Cy’s goal is to serve customers with excellent service once again as his mother did years ago. He is very proud to bring these values taught by his mother back to many previous customers and gain business of new customers. Cy is adamant that the customer experience be exceptional so that North State Signs & Wraps is their first choice by the entire Raleigh-Durham area.
Background / Education:
In addition to owning the sign company, Cy is the owner of Glenwood Clinical Monitoring, Inc., (GCMI) a clinical monitoring service for investigational drug, medical device, and in-vitro diagnostic studies. GCMI has been in business since 2008 and has helped oversee over 50 major clinical trials in the U.S from early phase to late stages of development. Cy holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research Management from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Also, he holds a Bachelors in Nursing and has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 19 years.
When away from work, Cy enjoys spending time with his son, Carson. Cy enjoys RV camping, taking trips to Nashville, and playing the pedal steel guitar. Additionally, Cy enjoys being involved with Super Late Model stock car racing and co-owns a race team based out of Kernersville, NC.
